What's the best way to create a local photography book? Local photographers, like Daniel Stultz, who contributed the above photo. What's the best way to determine which photos are good enough to be published? Local editors, like you. It’s as simple as that. Photographers contribute their photos, folks vote for their faves. The highest-rated photos are published.

Fun is reason #1! Every day, users tell us how fun it is to contribute their photos and shape the book with their votes. There’s also tons of exposure to be had by contributing. Promote local photography across the millions of hits going down here. A third reason? How about a shot at getting published in a book? Now that’s publicity! More reasons? How about the prizes or the community building with local folks? Plus, it's all free!

Check our fine print. Actually, we don't have any. Our stance is simple: We will never own your photos. You do. We believe the best way to foster creativity and collaboration is to maintain a steal-free zone. That's what you'll find here. You can read more on our rights page, but it's really this simple: we will never use your photo for any reason beyond the scope of this book project. Never.

We have email inboxes, too, and we hate spam as much as you do. When you register your free account, we give you the option of seeing recent activity on your account, weekly top photos, etc. But, if you’d like, you can opt out of every single email and receive none. Plus, we’ll never share your info with anyone.
