I was born and raised in Cincinnati, graduated from UC/DAA before the 'P' was added and enjoyed a long career in graphic design. I started taking pictures when my dad gave me a Brownie Starflash for my tenth birthday. It was strictly vacation and family snapshots for fun until a few years ago. I switched to digital, then upgraded from a Canon SureShot to a Canon EOS D20. Now I shoot professionally, specializing in natural landscapes, architectural detail, historic buildings, and pet and farm animal portraits. I still enjoy design, especially working with color. I love taking road trips and finding new places to inspire me. I enjoy taking classes at OLLI and recently completed an intermediate Photoshop class at the Art Academy. My image 'red leaves' was exhibited at the Ohio State Fair in August.
