I had the honor of being flown in a small plane with pilots John and Nelda Lane to visit the B-17 Project in Urbana, Ohio. Upon return, I caught the shadow of our plane on the ground nearing the Warren County Airport runway.
Thank you! Yes, both he and his wife, Nelda, took us up! You know him? As a matter of fact, I flew in the Wright B Flyer with John this morning (I'll submit a couple of photos soon of our trip.) We got up about 10' - 15' off the ground. Awesome experience and what an interesting man he is to know.
