Interesting bit of trivia. I am sure thousands of people have passed by there, never noticing the helmet. What brought it to your attention?

I was down at Findlay Market, doing some shooting there, when I noticed the church down the street. It had neat architechture, so I went to take some pictures, and that is when I noticed the helmet. A little bit later, a local business man was passing by, and he told me the story of the soldier and the helmet.

Thanks for the reply. A "stop to smell the roses" moment! I found some interesting history of the church on the internet, but nothing about the helmet story!
