streetcars, what a neat, old idea! they would add a good deal of character to our city, as well as efficient transportation around town, less fuel and smog... photo taken in front of Music Hall and Washington Park...
Well, uh, back to the photo . . . I've bumped down this street many a time and wouldn't "desire" to trade it for pavement under any circumstances. Brick streets remind me of the story of Dick Whittington and His Cat (although those were cobblestones). (I tried to write that with my low-country southern accent and realized that there's no phonetic way to do that and have anyone figure out what I said!)
