The Tyler Davidson Fountain and Carew Tower are two unmistakable features of dowtown Cincinnati. I positoned myself so that I could get them both in one image. What a beautiful town this is!
This is a very looming but quite peaceful shot, it looks as if the clouds are pouring the rain that they hold down through the hands of the fountain. awesome.
Interesting that it evokes different emotions. It strikes me with a feeling of being solid and firmly grounded, if not powerful. But that is what art does--it makes us react. If we all saw it the same way, it would be just an image.
