This is the inside of Vinyl which is located on Sycamore Street in Over The Rhine. This unique eatery, that looks like a 1950's diner, is a great place to hang out.
I'm 100% sure this place is closed -- it needs to re-open as some kind of diner! This is a great shot of what could be a bustling place! Glad someone got the mood when it was open still!
Yeah, I was going to mention that, too. I've only eaten there when it was the Diner on Sycamore. Didn't realize the new incarnation had closed as well.
Fishit says:
We use to eat there often back in the early 90s. Great steaks back then, you captured the mood well.
Waxinggibbous says:
Thank you, Dennis! Your shots are amazong!
Byron says:
I'm 96.3% sure this place closed!

Maybe I need to tell Deadbetty and see what she can do!
Slakejustice says:
Great shot by the way!
Rhino says:
Wish it was still open, another piece of history lost in Cincinnati. Awesome photo!
Chuckmadden says:
Love this shot! It looks like a scene from a noir movie.
Ohsocindy says:
Great pic, I used to work there back when it was actually called "The Diner on Sycamore."

Momof2 says:
I never got to eat there but it does look interesting. Wish I could have seen it when it was open.
Mamagiggles says:
I made it there once. Too bad they closed up.
Waxinggibbous says:
Thanks, all. Yeah, it is too bad they aren't around anymore!
Tuckett says:
It seems you've captured a bit of Cincinnati history before it was too late. Good for you. Pays off to carry the camera.
Starpoff says:
Neat place!
Momof2 says:
I saw this one on the "front age" for what it's woth. I hope that means it will be in the book.
