Zach Kappesser (cq), catches a few minutes of sleep in the gym as he awaits the start of the Campbell County YMCA Al Salvato Memorial Frostbite Five Run through Fort Thomas. Kappesser, who said he was at a party until about 4 a.m., planned to walk the five-mile course. The event started at 10:30 a.m. but he was there by 9:30 to register. About 235 people participated in the five-mile run/walk event. Proceeds from the race go to the Campbell County YMCA's scholarship program. The Enquirer/Patrick Reddy
