what a beautiful picture !! you have an eye !! I was told you either have it or you don't ;) and if you have it - it only gets better and if you don't - it never changes .. pursue your passion with photography - wish I did many years ago -- but I am now:)
You might try doing a B&W version of shots like this. When I purchased a new SLR before going to England a few years ago, the guy in the camera store recommended that I shoot some B&W film in the cathedrals over there. It really worked well.
