In 1788, 26 women and men from New Jersey, came to Columbia, to start a new life. A meeting house was built and this cemetery was installed behind. The cemetery was completely abandoned and overgrown. The city took it over and made a small park of it. Now the pioneers are not forgotten, as we can again read their names. Cemetery is across the street from Lunken Airport.
