I waited for over an hour, but it finally came from behind the clouds. Over Northern Kentucky. June 18, 2008. From a friend's home in Price Hill. Mother of God church (L) and the old brewery (R).
I also waited for this moon, it was very windy that night, and difficult to keep the camera with a 1600mm lens steady. I got a lot of pics out of focus. This is very nice.
Thanks, Robert. The moon isn't easy! I was on a wooden deck with a tripod and a smaller lens than yours, and I was using a timer so I wouldn't shake the camera with the shutter release, and I still got some shaky shots.

nicely done!! I waited for this SAME moon at the Eden Park overlook. But, the misquitoes got too intense and I bailed out. This is pretty!
Pom Mom says:
Thanks! I didn't have that problem, but I did get pretty chilly! I was just about to bail out myself when it popped into view.
