Pictured here are Mark Scherer and Lindsey Jones performing in The Factory at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, May 27-June 7, 2008. This year marks the Fringe Fest's fifth season in making a collaborative effort to give artists exposure. The works presented are those that push boundaries, taking risks in the forms of theatre, dance, music, poetry, visual art, and film. The Factory is a performance piece incorporating dance, music, and theatre, focusing on gender-related issues resulting from the stereotypes of women. Presented at the Contemporary Arts Center, the audience is thrown into a unique interactive experience, travelling to different locations of "The Factory" to witness the creation of the perfect woman in the eyes of a media crazed society. Presented by Pones Inc. Laboratory of Movement, directed by Lindsey Jones and Kim Popa.
