Semper Fi - Veterans Memorial Park. I brought my father to see this military cemetery replica created at Union Township Veterans Memorial Park by the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 649 and the Scouts of Troop 170. I got out of the car to take photographs and noticed something in the field. As I walked closer, I realized there was a Marine in his dress uniform reading the names of the fallen on several of the crosses. I did not approach him until he was leaving the area. I asked if I could take these photographs and he agreed. He told me he was a member of the Ohio Lima 3/25 who served in Iraq. He did not need to say anything more. I had already heard about their heavy casulaties.

Too Many, but all remembered. The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps! -Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady, 1945
