I remember you posting this shot right after Capture Cincinnati '07 finished up, and wishing you had taken it just a little earlier so we could get it in the book. I'm thrilled to see you post it for this year. I absolutely love this shot!
I have very fond memories of this place. Growing up, my Grandparents took my brother and me here every summer and Christmas. My favorite time was when they had the "Gross Museum" in town.
Amazing shot. But what amazes me even more is all the shots from up close, and inside the terminal. Security has questioned me two times and ran me off the second. I wasn't doing any more than anyone else has obviously been doing. They cited trademark and copyright infringement for taking pictures of Union Terminal. ~Puzzled look~
K Dunn, that's odd. I actually shot these one morning before the museum opened. I spoke to some of the security guards and asked if they minded if I came inside and took some shots and they said it was no problem.
I was taking a shot from almost this exact spot Chris. Not of the whole building, but of the windows along the wing leading up to the terminal itself. Out of the corner of my eye, I see one of the guards is hot footing it my way. This was when I was asked to leave. He may have been having a bad day. Dunno.
Fabulous shot Chris... it seems like everyone attempts to capture the "perfect" shot of Union Terminal and I'd say you've got yourself a keeper. Excellent work my friend!!

This is a gorgeous photo, and the photographer is completely BRILLIANT! He's also my cousin, but that doesn't make me biased or anything!
