Queen City Underground
Located deep underneath West 8th street downtown the remains of the Gerke Lagering Tunnels are one of the coolest secrets in the city and you can only see it during the Prohibition Resistance Tour during Bockfest. The craziest thing was climbing down two stories on scaffolding to get to see this. For those of you who don't know, Cincinnati has a rich brewing history and there's several of these tunnels scattered throughout Over-The-Rhine and Cincinnati.

commented over 6 years agoThanks Kevin! Beth, I'll be setting up another one of these events in September or October and one in the Spring. If you haven't already joined the Misfits With Cameras page on Facebook, do so and I'll post when the next event is later this year.

commented over 6 years agoBeth, I think there are regular tours, but about once a year Misfits With Cameras seems to get access for a photo tour. Bill is the one to be in contact with though as he really is the master of ceremonies:)
Bill, I love the pop of blue from the ladder....very nice.
